Imagine it’s the early 1900’s. It’s mid winter; the days are short and temperatures cold. There are few roads and lots of snow on the ground. You have to get to the next town to trade your wares. You gather the dogs, leash them to the sleigh and off you go! It’s 2006 but mushing is still a major part of Alaska and Alaskan history.
